The company
Legnopan is a manufacturer and distributor of wood panels, headquartered in the province of Vicenza. Thanks to its dense network of official showrooms and partner outlets, it manages to build a strong territorial presence throughout Italy. Placing its strength in the very wide range of products, Legnopan provides adequate solutions to the specific needs of carpenters, architects and contract companies.

Brief
The goal of the project was to act on the company’s visual image to create new communication media: from a new logo, to designing events to create brand awareness, to planning content for social media.



The logo
The project was followed by the entire class group working in parallel on different areas to complete the required objectives.
Initially, a new logotype was developed to more accurately reflect the soul of the brand, resulting in a manual of guidelines for proper use. Subsequently, catalogs, magazines, display corners and sample kits were designed, which followed three specific design strands.
Basic
The Basic proposal that saw the goal of reorganizing the existing material, rearranging the elements and drawing more value from them, the intent was to maintain a style very close to that already used by the company.
Basic Plus
A more evocative and emotional language is used in the second proposal. In the print media it was translated with a specific organizational choice of content by separating textual and technical information from visual information and proposing photographic formats such as moodboards and set renderings. In the display corners, a spatial arrangement was used that alluded more to the concept of an artistic exhibition, as opposed to what is usually seen for standard outlets.
Luxury
The latest line is especially designed for designers and architects. The style is very elegant and refined, both in the choice of materials for the paper media and in defining the formal structure of the packaging for the sample books.
It was intended to generate a more niche and researched stylistic line, which despite the obvious distance with the current brand communication, however wanted to give insights for a possible future direction to take. This was followed by proposals for new events and careful planning of social media publications taking care of the content creation aspect.
