Post-Diploma
90 percent of SID graduates are working within a year. Our education is designed to connect study and profession, between job opportunities and specializations.
Studying at SID means building a solid foundation for one’s future. At the end of the three-year course, graduates have a wide range of opportunities ahead of them: they can enter the working world directly, starting a career in companies, design studios, as freelancers, or choose to further deepen their skills with specialized courses.
SID also actively supports its students after graduation, facilitating job placement through collaboration with companies and industry entities. During the third year, Project Workshops provide an opportunity to engage with Corporate Managers and Marketing and Product Managers.

Specialization courses
Scuola Italiana Design’s post-diploma courses are created to offer vertical specialization in the most relevant areas of contemporary design. Through an experimental and interdisciplinary approach, these courses combine research and design practice, providing students with concrete tools to address the emerging challenges of the field.
The educational experience takes place between Poplab and the studios of Galileo Visionary District, environments of innovation and advanced production. Here, students and professionals work closely with the business world, exploring new methodologies and future scenarios for the design profession.
These programs are designed for those who wish to refine their design method, develop new skills, and gain a strategic vision of design, with training paths that balance theory, practice, and applied research.
In addition to the graduate courses offered by SID, graduates have access to advanced programs at other universities and institutions, both domestic and international, further expanding their prospects for academic and professional growth.

Sara Bozzini, a graduate of Scuola Italiana Design in 2010, lives and works in Lisbon as a freelancer in product design.
Collaborates with local artisans and chefs to create tableware, combining tradition and innovation. He believes in the value of contaminations between different fields and the importance of sharing in design.
Working with artisans, observing their craftsmanship and listening to the passion they convey is a continuous source of inspiration and growth for her. Sara sees design as an open system, where the real value lies in sharing.
Motion Designer
Marco Zamana graduated from SID in 2007 and is now creative director at Gothacom, a motion design studio in Milan.
After his experience in the company, he moved to Milan as a freelancer, discovering his passion for design applied to moving images. After several experiences as a senior designer, he landed at Gothacom, where he still works. For him, the comparison with colleagues is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, essential to enrich his work. Among the most significant projects he recalls the creation of mascots and animated series for Dolce&Gabbana.
He credits SID with preparing him for the world of work, providing him with a clear view of the industry and a habit of professional rhythms.

Giulio Simeone graduated from SID in 1996. Today he is the founder and owner of a design studio, combining this activity with teaching.

His design approach is analytical and technical, treating each project as a unique case to develop targeted solutions. For the future, he aspires to more personal and professional freedom, seeking new stimuli and knowledge. For him, design is an evolving process that requires curiosity and openness to change.
Product Designer
Giulia Strizzi graduated from SID in 2016 and, after a brief collaboration with SID, moved to Milan, where she began working in a major furniture design studio.
Open to every source of inspiration, she finds Milan a stimulating environment. Among her most significant achievements, she remembers with emotion the day she saw coffee cups designed by her in the store, watching people buy them.
Looking back on SID, she says she is satisfied with the choice and continues to appreciate the link between product and communication, a value she considers fundamental to her work.
Product Designer
Giampaolo Allocco is the founder and owner of Delineo Design studio, established in 2000.
Before enrolling in Scuola Italiana Design, he worked in the mold and prototyping industry, growing up to become the director of a company’s technical department.
Despite his success, he felt the need to deepen his design methodology, pausing his career to study at SID.
For him, design is a mission. His advice to students? Approach the study with total dedication, ready to fully immerse themselves in the discipline.

Product Designer
Stefano Traverso graduated from SID in 2000 and now combines his freelance work in lighting and interior design with teaching and business consulting.
After an experience as a junior designer in an interior design studio, he chose freelancing, starting his own entrepreneurial and educational path. In his designs, contrasts play a central role: he combines linear geometries with sinuous details inspired by nature and blends innovative technologies with craftsmanship, creating a balance between tradition and innovation.
After a career of more than 20 years, he continues to do work that he is passionate about every day. He calls his experience at SID enlightening because it opened his eyes to the world of design.
Product Designer
After graduating in 2000, he worked with the R&D department of SID, an experience he remembers fondly and that fueled his determination to explore the world of design.
Specializing in product design for furniture and the home, he opened his own studio in 2009, consolidating collaborations developed over the years. Among his most significant projects is his partnership with Pedrali, for which he designs several products, including the Plus plastic monocoque chair.
His creative process always stems from an intuition, often inspired by fragments of lived or observed life, which he sensitively transforms into design objects.
multifaceted designer
Giulia Ferraris, who graduated from SID in 2013, is a versatile designer with a focus on textiles and crafts.
After an experience in Milan, he felt the need to deepen his contact with materials and production processes, moving to Amsterdam, where he works between studio and freelance.
Subsequently, he devoted himself to a personal project, rediscovering his Mediterranean roots. His works thus begin to reflect colors, materials and atmospheres of the south, breaking away from the northern influence. Her love for design stems from her attraction to sketches and models, but above all from a desire to create something beautiful and functional.
Freelance Photographer
Luca Bortolato, who graduated from Scuola Italiana Design in 2007, is now a freelance photographer and works in museum education.
After an experience in product design, she moved into graphic design thanks to an opportunity that arose during an SID workshop. There he discovered photography and, thanks to the training he received, learned to merge it with graphic design, expanding his skills.
The turning point comes with work in museums, where he uses photography to connect visitors to works of art, turning it into a narrative bridge.
For him, SID was a winning bet. His advice to students? Persevere: every effort will bear fruit over time.
