What can I do with that? - End-of-course exhibition
On Friday, March 29, 2024, the spaces of Open-Open in Padua hosted “What can I do with that?”, the final exhibition of the second-year Graphic Image Design course taught by Luca Fattore.
The exhibition brings together a selection of work created by students from a challenge that is as simple as it is powerful: to build a visual and conceptual system around three common objects-a dry cookie, a makeup remover sponge, a straw-and a shared macro-theme.
The process developed through the analog use of Rudolf Arnheim‘s visual-rhetorical thinking, prompting students to experiment with personal visual languages, analog tools and unconventional representation strategies.
A design and theoretical exercise at the same time, which allowed us to train our gaze, build visual awareness and lay the foundation for a future solid, conscious and critical professional practice.
What can I do with that? was an opportunity to return this path, open a discussion with the public and transform the exhibition space into a living laboratory of images and meanings.
