ISDR/03 Tecniche di rappresentazione e Comunicazione del Progetto Responsabile Poplab

List of topics covered:

This course introduces students to the essential tools for three-dimensional design representation, with a focus on communication and prototyping aspects. Through the use of parametric and NURBS modeling software, students will gain skills in creating and manipulating digital models. The program includes learning Fusion 360 for parametric modeling and Rhinoceros for free modeling and surface analysis.

Course-specific learning objectives:

By the end of the course, students will be able to translate a physical object into a virtual model, manage design changes, and produce detailed technical drawings. The integration between Fusion 360 and Rhinoceros will allow students to develop greater autonomy in managing the digital workflow, which is critical for advanced design.

Mode of teaching delivery:

Theoretical lectures will be alternated with practical exercises, allowing students to directly apply the knowledge gained. The interactive teaching approach will promote understanding of the principles of 3D modeling through direct experimentation with software.

Mode of examination/evaluation:

Assessment will be based on a final practical test given during the last class of the course. In addition, completion of the exercises assigned during the semester will contribute to the final grade, rewarding commitment and consistency in skill development.
