University Loan For Merit
Each of our students is eligible to access the “for Merit” loan, in partnership with Intesa San Paolo, which allows them to receive up to €5,000 per year with no strings attached.
To access the loan, it is sufficient to have graduated with a grade higher than 85/100 and to be regularly enrolled in the current Academic Year.
During the 3 years you will receive up to €9,000, for students with residence in the province of Padua, and up to €15,000 for off-campus students rogated in semesterly installments. The sum is tied to a subsidized, fixed interest rate and can be used freely to cover any type of expense.
At the end of the course, a bridging period is activated, free of obligations, for up to 24 months, before beginning to repay the loan.
Once the bridging period is over, repayment, can be made in a lump sum or in installments of up to 30 years.

How to request it
- Register on the Intesa San Paolo website at the link found in the paragraph button or by typing “for Merit” in the search bar on the Intesa SanPaolo website.
- After obtaining Username and Password, enter the confirmation email and fill in the fields in the Conventions and Universities section.
- At the next step you will be offered the loan and asked to fill out the application
- To the question “Are you a new enrollee” you must answer “No” as the question is reserved only for enrollees in public universities.
- You will need to specify the remaining term of the loan whether one, two or three years and select the loan type “by Merit.”
- You will then have to choose the Intesa San Paolo branch where you will open the account thus finalizing the loan application.
- Habacus will send you an email requesting a copy of your ID card and privacy consents.
