Right to Study - SID

Orientation and reception

  • Discover SID: weekly online information meetings (Thursdays 2:30-4:30 p.m.) and in-person once a month to present the school, training plan and projects with companies.
  • Open Day: three annual events where interested parties can visit the school, talk with faculty, students and former students.
  • Interviews and Admission Test: over 175 interviews and 129 online tests for 90 available places.
  • Meetings in high schools: the Head of Orientation meets with fifth classes to explain the three-year SID pathway.

Right to Study and Economic Benefits

  • Reduced entry fee: thanks to a fund created with institutions, companies and associations, the entry fee is reduced by up to 50 percent.
  • Convention “for merit” with Intesa Sanpaolo: possibility of financial support during the course of study.
    CARIPARO Scholarships: in the process of activation with ministerial accreditation.

Support for Current Students

  • Assistance for students with disabilities and DSA: possibility of supplementary measures to courses, recording of lectures upon request, personalized support from teachers.
  • Dedicated secretariat: operating Monday to Friday (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) for paperwork and educational assistance.

Recognition of Academic Training Credits (CFA)

  • Evaluation of prior studies: possibility of recognizing CFA for students with Italian and foreign academic or university degrees.
  • Recognition of Erasmus exams: full validity of exams taken abroad under exchange programs.
  • Teaching Evaluation Committee: instructs and deliberates on the recognition of credits earned.

Support for Foreign Students

  • English language interviews: to facilitate understanding of information about the course of study.
  • Assistance with housing search: referral of outgoing student contacts or rental agencies.
  • Erasmus accreditation (from 2023/24): under development for future international exchanges and opportunities.

Internships and Curricular Placements

  • Internship opportunities: collaboration with leading companies for hands-on experience in the design industry.
  • Paid summer internships: opportunities for 2nd year students through the R&D department.
  • Agreements with companies: to ensure qualified training experiences.
  • Transparent regulations: accessible online to consult criteria and procedures for activating internships.

Placement and Exit Orientation

  • Job Placement: active service to help graduates enter the world of work.
  • Career Day: annual event with companies to facilitate networking and job placement.
  • Job posting: through collaborations with partner companies.
  • Call for 3rd year: selection of internship and job opportunities for outgoing students.

Student Council

  • Active role in service improvement: collects reports on teaching, infrastructure and extracurricular activities.
  • Direct communication with the educational coordinator: to ensure an optimal study environment.
